FireAid: Stars Unite for LA Benefit Concert
A star-studded lineup is set to take over two major venues in Los Angeles for FireAid, a benefit concert aimed at aiding recovery efforts following two of the most devastating wildfires in the city’s history.
More than 20 artists from diverse genres will perform across two venues simultaneously, with proceeds from the event and donations directed towards rebuilding affected communities and implementing fire prevention measures.
A Night of Music for a Cause
The FireAid benefit concert will feature performances from internationally renowned artists, including Sting, P!nk, Lil Baby, Rod Stewart, Lady Gaga, and Earth, Wind & Fire. Additionally, several LA-born acts, such as Billie Eilish, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and No Doubt, will take the stage to support their hometown.
The initiative follows the devastating Palisades and Eaton fires, which ignited on January 7 due to severe wind conditions. The infernos consumed over 16,000 homes and businesses and claimed at least 28 lives.

The concerts will take place at two major venues, the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome, on Thursday evening. Performances at each location will start approximately 90 minutes apart, with each artist delivering two to four songs.

Dave Matthews was initially scheduled to perform at the Kia Forum but had to withdraw due to a family emergency.
To maintain seamless entertainment, organizers will stagger performances and broadcast them on large screens at both venues, ensuring no downtime between acts. Special guest appearances and tributes to first responders and victims of the fires are also expected.

The Annenberg Foundation will oversee donations, ensuring funds go towards both immediate relief and long-term fire prevention initiatives. Additionally, Connie and Steve Ballmer—owners of the LA Clippers, Intuit Dome, and Kia Forum—have pledged to match all donations made during the event.
The Impact of the Palisades and Eaton Fires
The Palisades and Eaton fires, which erupted earlier this month, have been recorded as the largest wildfires in Los Angeles history. Fueled by strong winds, the flames spread rapidly across brushy, mountainous terrain, consuming entire communities.
