Travis Kelce Will Miss Grammys with Taylor Swift for Super Bowl Prep
Travis Kelce, the 35-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, will unfortunately have to miss attending the Grammys with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, on Sunday, Feb. 2. The reason? The Super Bowl. The Chiefs are scheduled to arrive in New Orleans for their big game prep before Swift even walks the red carpet in Los Angeles.
The Chiefs, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, are set to land at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport at 4 p.m. on Feb. 2, one week ahead of their Super Bowl matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesar’s Superdome. The early arrival is part of their preparation for the 2025 Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, Swift is nominated for six Grammys this year, including Song, Album, and Record of the Year. The Recording Academy confirmed her attendance on Jan. 30 and announced that she will also serve as a presenter at the event, which will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
“Are you ready for it? @taylorswift13 is joining us this Sunday as a presenter at the 67th #GRAMMYs,” the Academy shared on X, encouraging fans to tune in.
Although the specific category she will present has yet to be confirmed, Swift — who has won 14 Grammys over the years — will join her peers in the music industry for the event. Meanwhile, Kelce, Mahomes, and the Chiefs will be gearing up for their Super Bowl showdown. If they win on Feb. 9, they will make history as the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls in NFL history.
